4: ειπεν δε παυλος ιωαννης μεν εβαπτισεν βαπτισμα μετανοιας τω λαω λεγων εις τον ερχομενον μετ αυτον ινα πιστευσωσιν τουτεστιν εις τον χριστον ιησουν
4: Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of
repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe
on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
4: Then Paul said: John baptized the people with the baptism of
penance saying: That they should believe in him, who was to come after
him, that is to say, in Jesus.
