Genesis Chapter 5, Verse 30

30: And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
30: And Lamech lived after he begot Noe, five hundred and ninety-five
years, and begot sons and daughters.
30: And Lamech lived after his begetting Noe, five hundred and sixty and five years, and begot sons and daughters.
And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years,...
It was in the 600th year of Noah's life that the flood came (Gen 7:6). Thus, Lamech dies five years before the flood and would have been able to watch as Noah built the ark. He may also have been a preacher of righteousness as was Noah (2 Pet 2:5).
...and begat sons and daughters:
Sons and daughters would encompass grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc. All, unless they were among the four wives of Noah and his sons, would have be killed in the flood.
